He was raised to regularly attend Christian meetings and participate in the door to door preaching work. He would have weekly bible studies conducted by qualified ministers of the gospel. He would regularly participate in his congregations Ministry School giving talks from the platform on scriptural topics relating to the Bible’s theme, God’s Kingdom.
As an Adult he would work in Juvenile Justice, which further exposed him to the harsh realities of Satan’s World, but DETERMINED to play a role in correcting the injustice he experienced in Alabama and Oregon as a young, poor African-American man, he would try Entrepreneurship as a means to uplift his family and community out of POVERTY.
Faced with the grim realization of the TRUTH of who actually runs the world, (1John 5:19 – “We know that we are children of God, and that the WHOLE WORLD is under the control of the evil one.” – Revelation 12:9 – “The great dragon was hurled down – that ancient serpent called the devil or Satan, WHO LEADS THE WHOLE WORLD ASTRAY. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.” – Revelation 12:12 – “Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them! But WOE TO THE EARTH AND THE SEA, because the devil has gone down to you! HE IS FILLED WITH FURY, because HE KNOWS THAT HIS TIME IS SHORT.”), he returned to studying the scriptures for answers. Jehovah God showed mercy and corrected “THE THINKING” he had developed during his time in the world and showed him with compassion his plans for his life.
The years he’d spent in Social Services as a States and Counties Juvenile Detention Officer, Youth Outreach Worker, Group Home Worker and Youth Program Board Member helped develop his understanding of how Satan’s System of things was working against the most vulnerable in the world (– “POOR HUMAN FAMILIES!!” – Matthew 26:11 – “The POOR YOU WILL ALWAYS have with you, but you WILL NOT ALWAYS HAVE ME.”)
Finding little support within the system, he attempted several times to initiate what he felt would be a remedy to his class of people, only to find that no one imperfect man would ever be able right their situation. The scriptures provided the answer he was seeking.
He returned to praying and regularly attending Christian meetings. And through worship and study of the scriptures, Jehovah God showed him how his time in the world had prepared him for His Call on his life.
Only God’s Kingdom could end Satan’s control of the World and he was instructed to apply the knowledge he had gain in the world with Holy Spirit direction to educate not only the people who looked like him “in the flesh”, but “ALL MANKIND” in God’s will concerning HIS CHILDREN. – (John 6:63 – “The SPIRIT gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are SPIRIT and they are LIFE.”)
